I'm running out of ideas for short films. I need some helpful ideas.
If you want more stars and less blams you'll have to learn the fundamentals of animation.
Before you color and add details to your characters, it's best to make a rough draft, it will make your animations way easier to manage.
I see you primarily focus on frame by frame, it's fun and all but unless your a master animator it's hard to do without the overall structure caving in and deforming.
I personally think pose to pose makes life much easier.

As for ideas I don't know maybe you could come up with some new characters maybe Tom and Jerry spoofs or Wiley Cyote and Road Runner
inspired characters. Or mix them both together in some creative way.
